Not to long after Christmas I was tired of having our kitchen half painted, and so one Saturday morning while Alan was playing basketball I thought I'd get started painting. I figured Alan would be home "soon" to watch Macey and that she couldn't get into too much trouble while I was busy. Oh I was wrong.
While I was painting she decided to pull out all our games and scatter them around the room. This included games with tiny pieces such as Ticket to ride and Risk.
When Alan got home we opened the door to our bedroom where Macey had also been playing. We found that she had taken her pjs off, put on one of my T-shirts, pulled our clothes basket up to our dresser, pulled out one of the drawers, climbed in it so she could reach my jewelry and was playing with my necklaces and bracelets. I think she had one of the best Saturdays of her life, doing whatever she wanted to do!
Around Christmas we taught Macey "What does Santa Clause say", and she'd say "Ho Ho Ho". Well she got a little mixed up and started calling everything with a beard, or a hat a Ho Ho. She's still doing it. The other day a guy came over to work on our Furnace that keeps breaking (that's another story!), and he had a red beard. When he walked in Macey started saying, a Ho Ho, a scary Ho Ho.
