It's been great living in Yakima and being able to be around for Family events. We celebrated my Dad's 29th Birthday earlier this month!!!
Macey has learned how to pull herself up on everything and anything since I last wrote. Her favorite is the dishwasher. As soon as we open it she sprint crawls for it.

The new style...just you wait!

Macey seems to sport a new hair-do after every nap

Catch up post

Well I had to do a big catch up post, 'cause it's been awhile since I've posted, and it probably will be awhile before I do it again. We moved out of my parents house (yeah!), and into a town house out in Terrace Heights. This past few weeks we've been doing a lot of moving and unpacking and furniture shopping. We're loving having our own place, as well as miss being so close to my family and spending so much time with them. They have been sooo great in letting us stay with them. When I have more time I'll post some pictures of our new place, as well as pics of our sweet table we got and hopefully sweet couch we're going to get.
Isn't this a cute picture of Macey...I just thought I'd post it 'cause she's so dang cute...I'm not bias of course!

Apples + Apples + Apples= Apple Sauce!

Alan had work off Monday, so we spent it making and canning apple sauce with my mom. We made a heck of a lot of apple sauce...60+ jars that will last the Kearns and Blair family a long time! It was fun but exhausting by the end.
Macey was very helpful...she chased us around in her walker, and tried to pick up the apples out of the many boxes we had.

Alan worked on his squishing and cranking coordination...he got really good at it! Notice how focused he is :)

My cousin Sarah came into town a few weeks ago. It was so fun to get together with her and our friend Heidi. I sure wish Sarah lived closer, but atleast we'll be able to see each other when she comes home to visit.
We tried to take a group picture of all the kids, but didn't have much success...Steven was ready!

Happy Halloween

We had to post a picture of our little tiger...I have some sweet video of her growling, but for some reason video posts aren't working for me, maybe I'll get it later...you'll just have to wait in suspense for it!
Scary I know

Can you tell which heads are the pumpkins, and which are ours?! My favorite is my mom...she hates weird face pictures!

Boys and Girls, don't try this at home

Alan's been practicing his balancing skills with Macey...he did this with no net or ropes!
These are the practice pictures
This one is hilarious (and really the whole reason for the post)...I was trying to get Macey to look at me and Alan started to drop her. Yes folks that face expression was not posed!

Falls here!!!

I just love the Fall...especially in Yakima. This last weekend we went to a friends orchard and picked apples. This was both Macey and Alan's first experience with picking apples. They loved it. Were going to make a whole bunch of apple sauce, and probably a few apple pies, and of course just eat some of the apples we picked. I can't wait for the apple cider, that's my all time favorite!

Elder Blair is home!

My brother Todd got back from his mission to Lima Peru on Wednesday. We were so excited to have him home. On our white board we had a "Count down till Todd's home". He lost a lot of weight, but looked so happy and good, and full of excitement. We were all so happy to see him. Two years is a long time!

He bought Macey a cute little snow hat that she looks adorable in as long as she keeps it on!

Happy Birthday Alan

Alan turned 27 on the 26th of September. He got a Costco card, hair clippers, a sweater, Cinnamon Rolls, an apple pie, money, admission into the Central Washington State Fair and an Elephant ear (kind of like a scone for those who don't know) from his wife, and family. I'm so grateful to be married to such a wonderful man!

Our little "Walker"

So about a month ago, maybe more, we bought Macey this little walker. Smartest thing we've ever done...OK in regards to buying something for Macey. She absolutely loves it! She can travel around and go where she wants to go. She's pretty speedy too. Her favorite thing to do is chase the dog around the house. Taddy (the dog) has discovered where she can go to be close to us, but where Macey can't get her.

Alan...the "Bread Winner"

Well here's Alan, all dressed up for his first day of work! Actually, he's going on two weeks now, I'm just slow at posting. This second week has been a lot better then the first. Now that he's done with the corporate trainings, he's starting to learn and work more in the things he'll be doing. Macey and I miss having him around all the time...but of course we're happy he has a job! We had a great, low responsibility vacation while it lasted!

How do we get that giant picture of us smaller. Anyone know?

New Job

Well after 4+ months of searching for a job that we thought would take about 1/2 that, we found IT !!! Despite our original desires to live somewhere other then Yakima WA (where Lisa is from), we gave into the need for a job and took the great opportunity that presented its self.

Alan will be working at a place here in Yakima called Central Washington Comprehensive Mental Health. It's a large company that has a number of different branches that are scattered throughout Central Washington. His job will have the responsibilities of working with 4 or 5 families and their youth through a new program. Because it is a new program being implemented he'll get the opportunity to go to some trainings throughout the US each month, as well as work with a small team of co-workers to get things started and running smoothly.

Alan and I are both very excited!

Blah Blah Blah

Well I guess Macey doesn't think much of what we have to say. We talk and all she has to say to us is Blah Blah Blah.

Haircut revealed

Alright here's the hair cut...I guess you can't really see it to well, but I don't have any other pictures of it right now and I don't want to take one right now 'cause well I just woke up. I guess it didn't turn out bad, I just wanted it different. My problem is I'm not sure how I really wanted it, so maybe who ever would have cut it would have had an unhappy customer. I don't remember if I said this before, but I think I'm going to stick to bringing in pictures of what I want.

I Just Hate Bad Hair Cuts

So I got a hair cut that I'm just not sure about. I told the lady I wanted an A line. I thought A lines had a little layering in the back...am I wrong? My hair cut is shorter in the back and gets a bit longer in front, but it's more like a bob. I think I'm going to have to start bringing pictures in of the hair cut I want as well as going to more expensive, better places. I guess it serves me right for being cheap! No more "SuperCuts" for me.
A few weeks ago my sister Kari came with her 4 kids to stay with us for two weeks. We had tons of fun going swimming, hiking to Boulder Cave, going to the Yakima Museum, jet skiing, and playing games. It's so much fun to be around family. Alan and I want to make sure we live around family when we grow up and get a home!
Jeff and Nichole decided to surprise us and drive all the way from Provo to come visit us Pioneer Day weekend. It was fun to see mom's shock when they showed up at the Pioneer Day Picnic.
Here we are a the Museum with all the kids.
Macey got lots of love and attention from her cousins.

Look what I can do

For those of you who have not seen Macey in a long time we wanted to share with you some of the things she's learning to do.

#1- Push ups- it's never too early to start working on those biceps.

#2- Look at that form- She's a natural born sky diver
#3- First step carousel horse, Second Kentucky Derby
#4- Blending in with the crowd- Waldo's got nothing on Macey

#5- Rolling over scene one
#6- Rolling over scene two
#7- How do I get these to my mouth

#8-She's an expert at drooling. That's where she gets the name "Drool Face Mace" #9- And she discovered her tongue

I just wanted to show off a few pictures...
Macey is normally a very smiley little girl, but as soon as we bring out the camera, she goes serious...camera shy I believe! We got a pretty good smile for this picture though.

We were trying so hard to get a good smile for this picture because of the cool background, but she wasn't in the mood.
Just cute!

Our vacation to Banff Canada

Two days after we got back from Alaska, we went with my family on vacation to Banff Canada. We had a great time. The scenery was very similar to Alaska's scenery...gorgeous place.
In this picture we are standing by Lake Louise. The water was a turquoise color.

We went on a Gondola ride up to the top of a mountain. It was beautiful.
Despite the serious look Macey was a little Angel on the drive there and back. It's about 10 hours each way, and she didn't cry once. She was content just hanging out with Cosmo.
