Fun in Alaska

Alan Macey and I spent the last few weeks in Gustavus Alaska at Alan's house. We had a great time hanging out with Alan's parents, Aunt Marsha and Aunt Susanne. We also enjoyed fishing, kayaking, bike riding, and watching the wildlife. It's great to be married to an Alaskan! Below are a ton of pictures of some of the fun things we did. Here's Alan working on reeling up a big fish...I think it was a 100+ pounder!
Here are the Halibut Alan, the Aunts, and I caught. The one on the left is about 200 pounds, that is one big fish! Let's just say we were a bit warn out after reeling in that baby!

We also went kayaking, it's so beautiful in Alaska. We had quite a few warm, sunny, beautiful days.
Macey had a lot of fun too. She's getting bigger everyday. She smiles and coos a ton. She rolled over for the first time the last day we were in Alaska.
I really wanted to pull the anchor. I did a good job for awhile, but finally had to get Alan to come help me. Now I know why Jim (Alan's dad) is so strong!

When we were there we saw this moose and her twin baby moose walking through Alan's neighbor's yard. We also had a black bear walk through Alan's yard, but we weren't quick enough to get a picture of it.

Alan and Jim caught a 30 something pound King Salmon one morning, too bad I don't really like Salmon. Everyone else seemed to enjoy it! Here's Mace hanging out with the Salmon!

Farmer Alan

A few weeks ago we met up with some of our friends from BYU (The Bleazards) in the Tri-cities. We had a great time. They showned us around Jason's parents farm. We had fun driving a tractor, playing games, and going to the dairy farm. Alan was even daring enought to milk a cow.

Happy or Sad...I just don't know!

Macey has a love hate relationship with Grandpa B. sometimes she'll be be laughing and smiling at him, and the next second she could be screaming in terror. She's not quite sure how she's feeling in this picture.

Chilling

I know these are some pretty silly pictures. It was kind of funny, Macey was crying, and Alan was laying on the bed holding her above him. He put her chin on his and she instantly stopped crying and sat there calmly looking around the room.
